Hi andrew, I know what you mean I think they call it applications of complex numbers.
You will be given a diagram and you will work from the diagram. The main things to remember are that a rotation of 90 is just times the complex number by i ( anti-clockwise) or 90 degree rotation clock wise its just divide by i...
also know what happens when you add or subtract complex numbers also know as addition of vectors or difference of vectors.
keep in my the enlargments etc
also when you multiple by cis @ where @>0 it means its a rotation of @ anti-clockwise
when multiple by cis(-@) it rotation of @ anti clock wise.
