I dropped COMP1917, but the openlearning account is still active, do i have to deactivate it through account settings? or is it fine to just leave it. I'm worried because the academic census date is coming up and i don't want to accidentally get a fail for that course

No, it'll be fine. As long as you've dropped it on myUNSW then you don't need to worry about that.
