Hey (and thanks in advance for imparting your wisdom)
My degree is Bcomm and BComputer science.
I've chosen COMP1911 but have seen on the handbook that people majoring in cs should be doing COMP1917. Should I change my course or am I fine with what I've chosen? Also, I've got basically no programming skills.

Do 1917 otherwise it will be a bit of a rough ride when doing later courses.

1917 is fine for students with zero programming experience. You just need to keep up with the work.


When enrolling use the "swap" feature. Never use "drop".

If you have enrolment issues, goto the CSE office and have a chat with them to fix it up.

Yep try and change into COMP1917 ASAP. I understand you might not be able now do to classes full + clashes.
