Not very useful if you don't combine with Business Law with accounting (most people do business law majors for the CA/CPA prerequisites)

Unless you're thinking of doing accounting as highlighted above, there's probably not too much of an advantage from doing a business law major. Also, if you're passionate about business law, why not just get a LLB?

ye it is only offered as a co major

so its basically a useless co-major except for some background law knowledge

but id combine it with finance not accounting

accounting and corporate law and tax law is insanely similar

despite what com(finance)/law people say, law is relatively less useful for finance.

like what phrred said, of course if you have space in your degree, why not get a bit of basic law knowledge under your belt so you know what they mean by "an act" or "injunction" or "civil proceedings" when they talk about it on the news or something

The most useful co major you can do (assuming that you'll be doing Finance) is Accounting. That's the best major to choose with finance if its job prospects your after

None. They just call it "applied" to sound more relevant, more "hands on" - which it isn't.
