what do most people with a commerce law degree work as after they graduate -> law or the commerce side?
and if so, how much is a typical salary for a person with at least 10 years experience in that particular field.

Commerce. Most people don't end up working in a 'pure' law job but rather they use their skills/experience/knowledge and apply it to other roles.

Most people end up going into Commerce given how difficult it is to find a job in Law. Salary progression really depends on what field you enter and what you want out of a career - it's too broad a question to answer.
