SO ee2ers... how did it go? Did the markers like your work? Or strangely not understand your genius? :p

totally devastated - just about sums up my feelings toward the major work:
30/50, with an examination mark of 15/50 and an internal assement mark of 44/50

i dont understand what happened..

46/50 which I'm quite happy with (wrote it in the last three weeks lol) but my English teacher is pissed. She kept ranting on about "subjective marking" and stuff. I laughed.

Congrats! Our class was told that the Multimedia works always do horribly, but you're proof that's not true, lol. Good work!

N/A
50/50, 50 external, 49 internal (rank 2nd).

Extension 2 is a very VERY Subjective course. My whole year the teacher told me that my Major Work was precariously hinging on philsophical debate as opposed to literary, which could have either gotten me a top band 4 or a bottom band 3.

can you apply for re-marking? i have no idea what your major work was like, but that's really quite shocking... there is a MASSIVE difference in marks there.. :S

You cant get a remark per se, i can ask my principal to send a request to the BOS for an "investigation" that is at the sole discretion of the head of the marking centre. other than that, all i can do is a clerical recheck. Pursuing both currently.

Either my school totally fucked me over -which is entirely possible - the markers just didnt like/get it, which is fair enough and i can live with, or there has been a clerical error. Its not so much the mark that kills me, its the not knowing why!

I got 48/50 which I was stoked about considering I thought I had stuffed it up. I was editing in on my way to dropping it off at school after an all nighter. Who would have thought an exploration of the transformation of The Phantom of the Opera could get a pretty groovy mark?
