Some of you, usually lacking a background in physics, may like to have some help on Circular Motion(4U Mechanics). I'm available for:

Options

i) 1-on-1 (2.5 hrs) - $100
@ your place if within 5 km of Epping station; extra if farther away

ii) small groups of 2 to 4 (3 hrs) - $60 per student
@ Eastwood

When? - whenever mutually convenient. For small groups, need 2 or more participants.

Coverage: Newton's 3 Laws; vectors: resultant force and resolution of forces, centripetal force, deeper understanding of: normal reaction, friction, tension, slippage, sideways thrust, taut/slack string, conical pendulum-type problems, banked track problems including railway track type problems. Typical questions will be analysed & solved to show how the various priciples are applied.

Credentials: ??

Please PM me if interested. If there is sufficient interest, I can conduct small-group sessions at other locales.

If you are looking for private help in Circular Motion and are looking for a really good tutor then you should explore this offer seriously.

Of course, what is a good tutor is a function of at least 2 variables: the tutor and the student. A tutor considered good to one student may be perceived to be hopeless by another. In my (biased and deluded??) assessment I'm good and I know my stuff and I know how to explain really well. Money is the least of my concerns. I feel here I have something to offer to those in need.

look at how many questions you have answered, and you have got no replies.

But a person who (says) they got 99.9ATAR comes along, puts up an ad and never posts , well they are full of students in no time.

dont you get it man!

they only want your answers, after that they just go to 99+ATAR tutor charging $70/hr or overpriced tutoring companies like matrix .

I have actually taken to helping people on other forums on the net though , I still answer the same ( if not alot more maths questions ) over the net.

Just to a different forum, so its much less likely I am helping anyone doing the hsc.

I just cant stop helping people , but I dont want to help anyone doing the hsc , because atleast if I am helping people from like england or usa then I actually know why I am getting no tutoring replies , you know what I am saying?

seriously drongoski, answer the question :p

I remember like a week ago someone asked a conics question, and then in their thread you were like advertising "conics" workshops, whats the deal.

You are pretty desperate lol, needing to advertise as soon as someone asks a question

m8 - I appreciate your input. I often wonder why I'm so stoopid - I'm better than the ATAR 99.85 posters and no one seems to believe me. Well - it is their loss as much as it is mine. As I said money is secondary to me. I just feel I have something special to offer. But they think the top coaching centres are better.

Is this you, Pierre?
are u seriously that slow man?

Haters gon' hate. Drongoski is one of the most talented and generous frequenters of the mathematics fora. If someone continuously asks questions, it's not so bizarre to offer them tutoring.

Thanks gurmies. Appreciate it.

Many on bos indicate difficulties with mechanics - especially those not doing physics. I thought I may have something extra to offer.

lol shut up trebla, all you are good for is maths , wow.

Atleast when I finish uni ill be able to make kickass electronic shit as well as be maths genius

you will be no use at all , lol straight maths is just so impractical, who needs you?

All the economists and engineers and other scientists do their own maths. Uni maths that engineers dont do is just all theory , no application.

like linear algebra , its not particularly hard but all the crap on subspaces and shit is just pure theory ( and 50% of it is stating the obvious )

LOL total epic fail right there :p

Well mr cyber bully if you did your research you would have known that I am not studying soley mathematics (in fact I think I mentioned this to you before). In fact, I've mainly done applied mathematics and I am also studying chemistry, statistics, finance and economics as well. So joke's on you :p.

Even if you couldn't be bothered finding that out then you shouldn't have asserted this false claim without any evidence to support it and made a total fool out of yourself.

If anything, you should be the one who should shut up before you embarass yourself again...

If you can do your circular motion question:

i) you get 3 or more marks

ii) it puts you in a better frame of mind to do the rest of the paper

Is that worth $100 to you?
