What does this dot point mean:

"Construct word and balanced formulae equations of chemical reactions as they are encountered"

Does it only mean that I noe how to balance equations or does it also having to noe what covalent and ionic bond, and if so where can I find resources or websites to help me

The first one. Covalent and ionic bonds are later I think. an invaluable resource could be your teacher. Alternatively, try chemfiesta

You just need to write out BALANCED equations as they are encountered

Example:

2NaOH (aq) + H2SO4 (aq) -> Na2SO4 (aq) + 2H20 (l)

Generalisation: BASE + ACID -> SALT + WATER (a neutralisation reaction)

or like METAL + WATER -> METAL HYDROXIDE + HYDROGEN GAS and write a relevant equation
