hey all
i was just wondering what parts of the HSC chemistry course (and prelim course for that matter) are relevant if you want to study medicine (in particular at UNSW).
i've heard that you should be familar with organic chemistry as opposed to inorganic, but i was hoping perhaps someone could be a bit more specific.
and also, did anyone do medicine here without having done Chemistry in the HSC? How did it go? did you find you had to do a bridging course/extra study? or did the medicine course really start at the basics?
Thanks very much everyone, and i know there are similar threads like this, its just i found they were a bit vague on detail.
Thanks
