Cheating in a HSC assessment/test. (1 Viewer)

Have you ever cheated, or know anyone that has? This may be getting someone else to do a take-home asessment, or taking notes into an exam. I never have.

Apparently our class of '07 got penalised for cheating. Not exactly sure what happened - and of course, our school principal isn't going to confess.

I mean you would be really stupid to do it in the first place.

I have this suspicion lurking in the back of my mind which I need to clear up. I know people are allowed toilet breaks when they go into an exam, but what if they had notes under their shirts, trousers or in their shoes. They could even have planted some notes rolled up and placed into the toilet paper rolls, ready for them to use. And obviously the examiner can't go into the cubicle with them, so what happens? I really don't understand this. Can they strip search you?

Strip searching by someone that isn't a police officer is ILLEGAL!
EDIT= or a person at the Border or whatever. But not a HSC supervisor.

Plus if your're under the age of 18 any form of interrogation, your parents have to be with you.

Also i don't know, i suppose they could go and check after you use the toilet if they are suspicious.

Is anybody that stupid to put their HSC in jeopardy?

i have to take 3 toilet breaks every exam because i have a seriously weak bladder, sure you could cheat but it would be kinda pointless, you'd have like 30 seconds to get the notes out, find what you don't know, remember it, then hide the notes again.

If you forget a little part of it, would it matter?
If you couldn't remember anything on that question and you got most of it in your head, then you would get some marks?

Also, if you have it in a planned way, i mean having stuff you couldn't remember, stats on another page. Going by topic?

I think it would be easy.

Just need a place where nobody would find it.

well might be able to manage 20 pages of notes tucked in all different places...

nah, if your cheating, generally you'll have smaller notes, and on smaller pieces of paper i recon.. = tuck into small spaces

if your planning to cheat, there are a lot of way to do it..

if i think about it, i might be tempted TO cheat..


but talking about toilet trips, during exams we have to be escorted to the bathroom, ect, but the one time i did need to go during an exam (ext math) i just got told to go quietly..
