I sense someone deleted my reply. Anywho how long have you had the game for? Is it too late to take it back to where you purchased it from and say "Oh no, the game was scrateched when i bought it?" and ask for a replacement?

Id say spend ur money on some useless cleaner before realising that the PS2 laser is super sensitive and you will need to buy a whole new copy.
