Was just wondering is the electron flow from the Cathode to Anode?
and im doing medical physics as well.... in the production of Xrays are they produced at cathode or anode :S thanks any help would be appreciated

Yep electrons go against conventional current and therefore travels negative to positive (cathode to anode)

this is right. but what really confused me is when in Chemistry we learn that electrons flow from anode to cathode. But for physics its cathode to anode. Does any one know why chemistry is different to physics in this aspect?

In chemistry the sign of the cathode and anode changes on the application. It is based on where the oxidation and reduction occurs.

Ok..... in Chemistry the electrons in a Galvanic Cell from From Anode to Cathode....
So in Physics its in Reverse :) kewl
