I dont get it. What exactly is price and income policy? - the syllabus is pretty vague and Riley's doesnt cover it. Excel has a bit but i dont trust em...
Also, do we need to know competition policy? my teacher seems to think so but I cant find it in the syllabus or excel.

Prices and incomes policy is what the governments used in the 1970's/1980's and involved wage indexation and etc, its in the Dixon book
Now the gov't uses labour market policy (all the decentralised stuff)

Competition policy is simply refers to deregulation of PTE's, including such reforms as privatisation and corportisation, and also the formation of bodies such as the ACCC
I'm sure this stuff woulda been covered in ur text
