yeah , the advisors who have to approve your subject selection are lost at macquarie

my friend was enrolled in a 70 uai computer science course and chose the subjects of a ~90 uai business administration degree. he did not choose 1 computer subject and no one even noticed lol

just choose a friendly looking career advisor when you enrol and if they start asking questions, explain your situation and they will let you choose whatever subjects you want

Ignore that last post. The advisors might give it the okay (if they are incompetent) but it will stuff you up when u try put your subjects on the system and you get caught out (not a good start to uni).

Explaining situations will do dick once they know you don't meet the criteria. That person who did the bba units instead of computing was very very lucky, and it is definately a mistake on behalf of the computer administrator.
