Can teachers adjust internal marks? (1 Viewer)

I've heard that teachers can adjust your internal marks to what they think you will get? For example if a student was to average 99% in every internal assessment, the teacher can send NESA 90% cause he thinks that the student will get closer to that range.

Can someone confirm this for me thanks
