Ok i got this teacher in my school that gives language quizzes every wk.
I need a list of 'figures of speech' that can help me on my study.
E.g. metaphor, personification,anthropormorphism etc.

Anthropormorphism??? Lol. Big word. I should google it but I'm not going to becuase I'm a little too occupied with homework and brief study

But in general language tests you really need to know your vocabulary, WORD ORDER!!!! (rules about verbs etc), difference contexts of text e.g. imperative and formal. It's good to revise the basics all the time.
