Can i use a picture from a picture book for my related text for belonging?
E.g a picture from the picture book "The Arrival"

I'm not sure to be honest:)

But I'm pretty sure you wouldn't just be able to use one picture from the book, but would have to take a more holistic approach.

Because your related text would be The Arrival and not that one picture (if it was published elsewhere as a single entity then you could though).

But as I said I'm not 100% certain. Sorry.

Does the picture itself have a title? It is important to think about how you will refer to it throughout your essay because repeating "the picture from" could get tedious and would make valid points lose sophistication in the eyes of the marker. The second question you should ask yourself is "how much can I really write about this text?" if you feel strapped for words it may not be the best idea. Remember in case ONLY one related text is specified you may need to write in the ballpark of 400 words about a picture which even the best of us do not find easy.

I know you probably just wanted a yes or no answer but in the art of choosing related texts it is never that simple.
