Say I failed a subject but I made up for it at summer.school with another subject and got a high mark
Can they still see that you failed a.subjexlct.

Yep, if they ask for your transcript. Unless you change institutions the fail will always be there.

Yes.

But that's not necessarily a bad thing. You can tell the employer that you were going through a tough time, but if they look at your other results, it's obvious that you were able to overcome those problems and succeed, which is admirable for the workforce.
