has anyone got any ideas on building a motor, cos i'm clueless.

if there are any sites, books etc that i should read that'll help

application of the motor effect...you'll need a magnet, some wire and a battery. start from there :p

i have to do one of these, too. just try and find a slightly innovative way of constructing it and using the materials you have. see if you can grab some supermagnets from the school as well, or use an electromagnet of some variety, for extra torque ;)

or buy a motor kit. or *acquire* one from school. that really helps u understand the concept and then u can work on the same design with different materials.

well i dunno, good luck on your quest for motorisationising.

The beakman's motor is not recommended. Its too simple.
(Unless time is a problem, the just do it)
