i know 2 biomedical engineers who graduated from USYD. 1 is employed doing research shit in a lab (non related to her degree). the other is at UTS doing civil engineering. she didnt want to be in a lab because she said it was boring.

so if one completed a biomedical engineering degree (UNSW/USYD)

could one (i suppose, fundamentally) be considered for a job in the mechanical field?

and be successful in accquiring and performing well in said job?

well, isn't that really a given anyway?

sif the second one didn't know that she'd probably be getting labwork

and with the first one, do you know what sort of research she's doing, if it isn't related to her degree?
