B Communication UWS -> B Arts (Public Communication) UTS

Hi, a friend of mine has just informed that it may be possible to transfer at the end of first year B Communication at UWS, to SECOND year B Arts (Public Communication) at UTS, if the individual has a high enough GPA & ATAR to transfer.

Is this true? It sounded slightly odd to me (UTS is a 3 year course and UWS is 4, so how do they match up?).

Any help would be appreciated, I had to miss out the open day as I was up north and the website is useless as hell on issues regarding transfers.

Main round applications close in 35 mins! :uhoh:

you'll need a GPA of 5, so credit to distinction average (i think i think) - and yes you can do it providing they have places and you satisfy the requirements.
