While I was reading the course info for B Business, I noticed that there's a practical component. Can someone who does this degree explain to me what it's about? I heard from the uni that the student has to organise it themselves, that we don't get assigned to a place. And why don't other unis that offer a business course have these practicals too? Any info about this and the course would be greatly appreciated. :)

It's a part of the uni course.
The subjects are BPIX100, BIPX200, and BIPX300.

BIPX100 is a community role, where you have to be interacting with the people the community organisation helps, ie: homeless shelter: homeless people. Soccor Club: Soccer Players... etc..

BIPX200 and BIPX300 are professional roles, where you use your skills that you pick up in life/uni to work ofr an organisation..

These subjects you can apply for credit for or come to an arangement if you have worked in a professional role, or done something in the community for a length of time.

You can expect to be required to do 140 hours on each subject (roughly 3 weeks full time work)

It can be acheived in the semester gaps.

The BIPX200 and BIPX300 can be paid or unpaid, the BIP100 must be unpaid.
