Average Internal Rank + Good External Mark = Possibly Good ATAR? (1 Viewer)

Is the ATAR calculated based on internal rank or mark? And is it calculated based on an overall mark or rank, or is there one for each subject?

I am doing...
Chemistry
Biology
Physics
English Advanced
Math
Math Extension 1

Coming top 5 in Biology, otherwise slightly above average for other subjects I think...(average being 50%) in a 40-50's school.

So...my question is...if I do well in the external exam (as in 90ish raw mark I'm unsure) can I still get a "good" ATAR? (99+? 95+? 92+?) Or is that impossible because of my internal rank?
