Just out of curiosity. Would an exceptional performance in the externals allow me to achieve an ATAR of say... ~90? And if so, what marks would enable this? If not, what is the highest ATAR, in your opinion, that I could achieve?

Sorry for bombarding you with questions. :\

Not very well due to personal reasons... anyway, my marks were:

- Math: 68% (19/64)
- Bio: 64% (16/29)
- History: 75% (10/24)
- Legal: 53% (5/13)
- Society: 86% (4/12)
- English: 57% (27/35)

I have been able to focus on my studies lately because various issues in my life have been resolved. Thus, I think I can achieve good marks in the externals. Essentially, I want to know how effectively a desirable performance in these exams can negate the effects of bad trial marks and subsequent average ranks.

Just remember that 50% of your final result comes from the external exams.

If you improved in all your exams to get a result of around 85 for all your subjects in the externals, then you would be looking at mid 80s I suppose.

You would need to have results in the mid 90s to get a chance of getting an ATAR of 90+ imo.
