i put my results in the atar calculator and got a high 60's ATAR

yet my career advisor
gave me 82.00 ATAR as a estimate.... strong strong cohort.
but im very confused?
explain...?

or can you give me a estimate to see your understanding of my estimate?


and.... english marks generally required for a band 5?

<3 i got 70% in CSSA paper?

Raw marks =/= the marks you get from HSC.
Your advisor is probably more accurate than you putting raw marks into dah calculator.

An ATAR calculator i s very accurate when dealing with final marks - its useless for providing an estimate off non-moderated marks. As for human estimate (whether from an advisor or on BOS) is also unreliable as they are often inaccurate. This is mainly because there is no definitive way of converting ranks into an ATAR. A human estimate can however give you a general idea as to what you might get.
