I really need to know, how much does the assessment tasks at school count towards the HSC? Also, is the mark calculated according to ur rank, and not ur actual marks? I'm disappointed w/h some of the results I've been getting lately, they are worth 8%, do I still have hope? Wat I'm talkin about is 2 unit maths, I got 81% in the recent assessment, do I still have a chance of getting 90% for my UAI?

Your assessment tasks have a total weighting of 50% of your HSC.

Those raw assessment marks become moderated by the board of studies. Your ranking does play an effect on it as well as the overall class performance in the exam.

An 8% assessment really is quite little. That's saying you still have 92% of your assessment left to do at school.

Getting 81% for that assessment actually isn't bad.

Whether you'd get 90+ UAI is way too early to tell. But considering you think that getting 81% is considered bad (Icertainly don't), I'd say you will have a good chance of getting 90+

Don't stress out now. You've got a long way to go.
