i ahd a question " what was the importance of the palaces on crete" , i put trade ETC and supierority to other trading countries u guys got any more ideas?

the palaces in crete were of high religious importance. The grandstand frescoe shows the tripartite shrine from knossos and indicates that the area was used for a religious purpose, as does the presence of lustral basins etc. The central courts of all the palaces were important for public meeting and the presence of workrooms and storage areas (magazines) in the palaces indicate that many artisans and other workers used the palaces as part of their proffessions.
