Arts Usyd to Digital Media COFA (1 Viewer)

Currently in first year doing B Arts at USYD (2007 cut-off 83 point something)
wanting to transfer to
B Digital Media at COFA (2007 cut off 85.2)

2007 UAI: 84.3
GPA: ? No idea. It's only Sem 1.
2007 UAI cut-off: 85.2


What sort of GPA would I need?
Not really sure how GPA works.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but GPA only counts if you've done one full year of full time study (i.e., EFTSL of 1.0)

a credit average (GPA over 5) would probably guarentee you entry to digital media.
usually people transfer at the years end, because when mid year transfer open, your uni results wont be available by then, so they only go for your UAI if you wish to transfer.

Sweet. Sorry I didnt see that earlier.

So, it doesn't really matter that I will have 36 credit points by the end of first year, because cps for each subject vary or... something like that?

Basically, I can get away with calculating my GPA with the grade points from my 6 UoS's (equating to 36 cp).

36 credit points in a year still constitutes you as being a full time student, so i wouldnt worry about that.
just use the irl link to calculate your GPA.
