i got a question for an inclass essay with the content area being frames
the question is:
"how does art communicate as a system of signs and symbols? what are the limitations to this point of view?"
support your arguments by referring to artists from the Modern period (1900-1945)
Im not to sure how the question is supposed to be broken down.
do you do the first question in full first then go on with the second question, or can both be incorporated for each artist?
and limitations being the other frames?
also i was thinking of doing the artists Dali, Natalia Goncharova and possibly Giorgio de Chirico. good artists?
