for my chemistry trial i got 96% but my overall my rank is 25/32 because of task 1 etc... pretty much failed those lol
so being rank 25 my internal marks will never be higher than the people above me? am i correct?
e.g
rank 1 internal of 90
rank 24 internal of 75
rank 25 (me) internal definitely below 75?

what if everyone above me screws up the hsc chem exams and our internals get dragged down? because the person who's rank 24 got shit in chemistry trial (58%) but did pretty good with the other task sitting around 70-85%

Suppose the highest external mark your cohort gets is 97 and the lowest is 50.

Your school submits overall, cumulative internal marks - these get dumped into a formula so that the highest internal mark turns into the highest external mark, the lowest internal mark turns into the lowest external mark, and the average of the internal marks turns into the average of the external marks.

Your internal mark will go down if your cohort as a whole performs badly externally,
