When applying for job, if it shows there are no vacancies, should i still apply?

I usually do it anyway - it can't be bad because the worst thing that can happen is that you don't get a job - which is what you started with anyway.

just give it a go. it could be the case that someone is seeking to leave and they haven't yet advertised the position.
