So basically I've been given this assessment, and I wouldn't mind any ideas or help that I can use to implement towards this assessment.

So the aim of this assessment is to basically :

Create a Rubber Band Vehicle that will need to carry a mass/load over a distance of at least 1 meter.

Any ideas on what material I should use ? Something light, but has enough strength to sustain the load and go past the one meter range.

Other ideas cocerning wheels, material, shape of the vehicle would be appreaciated. Also the vehicle will be driven over carpet.

ANYTHING ELSE ! PLEASE :)

Tyvm.
Thanks in advanced ! :)

How heavy is the mass?

I would use either MDF, jiprock or if it is a light load, definately balsa wood.

Would be best if you could get some foam wheels like they use on professional RC cars, these are super sticky and provide best grip. Use these wheels on the driving axle (rear axle preferably), then use some lighter, smaller wheels on the front.

Im sure there would be numerous resources on google to check out

Thank you so much DarkChild!!!!

Anything else haha? The load is about 2kg. Only source of energy is a rubber band </3

I did further research today, and we're thinking of using Prospects. We're doubling up on the base to sustain the load. But ahhh, we need to do more research. Resources are quite limited.

In your opinion. Wood or Prospects? We're towards prospects because its lighter, and still has good strength. But ill take your options into consideration.

Thank you again DC.
