Any chance of a 90 atar? (1 Viewer)

I just wanted to know what kind of marks I would need in the HSC for these subjects to get an atar of 90. My school is ranked 159th in the state.
- Chemistry (6/20)
- Biology (3/60)
- Religion 1 (16/60)
- Music 1 (5/20)
- Advanced English (24/60)
- Advanced Maths (15/20)
I am guessing one of my maths units will be dropped.
The course I want to do needs an atar of 84.6 so i'm hoping to get 90 so I can be sure I'm in when I get my atar

90 at best, your religion rank could have been better and your english is not the best. Those subjects will none the less still hurt your atar (considering one of your maths is not counted). Apart from those two everything else is looking pretty good.

It would be hard, with those marks...I'd say about 85 but if you go well in the externals then you might be able to hit 90.

I can get bonus marks for getting band 6, 5 and 4 in maths, chem and biology. my bio teacher says i can get a band 6 which is 3 atar points, and my chem teacher thinks i can get a band 5 in chem, which is 2 points so thats 5 extra points, so with that do you think i could get 90?

SORRY. Religion rank is 16/60 not 20, hope that makes a bit of a difference. I was wondering why everyone was saying my rank for religion was so bad. its not really. We're just all really close up the top. Theres a fair bit of people tying on marks. Thanks.

I think 90 is achievable, but you really need a better maths mark externally
