Hello, Me and my friend plans to go to canberra and live in a multi-share accomodation but I had a talk with my friend and we looked at the courses in ANU- he wants to be in the police force and it seems Anu doesn't offer the policing courses. Luckily we came across a part of it that interested him- if possible he will do the bachelor of economics and arts degree and wonders if the minor called crime and deviance in the arts degree can be his only arts degree. Or if he does economics and arts would those degree be irrelevant and not be enough to join the police force or security bodies like Asic?

It wouldn't count. A Bachelor in Asia-Pacific Security would help in getting into a government security agency but if you just want to join the NSW Police Force as an officer you just apply, you don't necessarily need a degree.
