I got an offer to recommence studies in BSc which i previously discontinued March 2014 before census.
I had only studied part time for one year.
Yet in my student records it shows my annual average mark as 0 for 2014.
How can i get an AAM of 0 if i didnt study any subjects that year?

Does this mean anything in terms of overall WAM?

Sorry to be clear, I was enrolled in subjects but dropped them before census.
Was never enrolled in any subjects in second semester of that year.

Definitely wont affect your WAM - you have to have done a subject and completed it or failed to withdraw before the census date and receive academic penalty for it to affect your mark.

Deferral shouldnt have any affect.

If your grades for that semester were WD (withdrawn), they do not affect your WAM.
