What stuff have you got so far? We can build on that.

The main things I'd look at would be Amarna Diplomacy and Cyril Alred's book.

I'm sure I've posted up about this before - I did an outline of the major issues with the foreign policy - the so-called pacifisim, how this was odd for a pharaoh, the Amarna letters, how the memoria damnatio could influence what we know, how his image and ideology affects what we know (and what he wanted us to know), his bureaucracy and how it may have still run well, etc.
