what is this [aggregate] thing?
A scaled mark of 91, yes. Not an aligned or raw mark.Originally posted by Golani
wtf, so if you get 91 for every subject you'll get a uai of 99???

In the past, the students who attained UAIs of 100 had aggregates spread across the following ranges:Originally posted by Nick
wat kind of aggregate would earn someone 100 UAI.. like 480+?
No to the former and yes to the latter. Bands have nothing to do with it; they refer to aligned marks.Originally posted by deyveed
So getting Band 5 for everything or averaging 80+ in scaled marks will get you 95+?
Equivalences between raw and scaled marks aren't published - you can only know whether a course had above or below average scaling. For that, see this list.Originally posted by iambored
edit: where can i find how subjects scale. like what a raw mark would give me in uac terms
I included a nice glossary in the UAISeeker Manual - it might help.Originally posted by deyveed
Laz. Whats the difference between scaled and aligned marks?
Usually, how big is the difference between them?
I understand what you mean.Originally posted by iambored
also, the uac scaling, is that how every mark for every subject(besides a few subjects) get scaled down, but the "higher scaling" subjects as we call them, just lose less marks?
does that even make sense?
