There's a couple of points I have included in that answer, applicable to your question/query.
But just quickly, a couple of Advantages and Disadvantages:
Advantages
- moves data through air and space, therefore it doesn't require a physical (fixed) connection
- portable
- able to be transmitted over long distances
- microwave is faster than telephone lines or coaxial cabling
- reasonably error free (see disadvantages)
Disadvantages
- limited bandwidth affects speed of transmission
- microwave (high frequency radio signals) operate on line-of-sight from antenna to antenna
- affected by trees, buildings, weather conditions (problems in maintaining signal quality/strength)
- requires ground stations and repeater towers to boost/amplify the signal
- service fees and charges are higher than those for telephone lines
That should get you on the right track
