ACT system - scaling subjects 2008 and AST (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I graduated last year, and today I was looking at my Tertiary Entrance Statement (transferring) and it had my majors and minors and next to them a scaled score, they were all in the 100s, like 140 or something random.

What do these mean? How does this work?

Also, what is the average result (in numbers) on the AST and what is a good one or bad one?

I guess none of this really matters because I am in uni now, but its kind of bothering me now I am thinking about it.
