Only a minor thing, but it the accuracy of AAS up to ppm or ppb?

Not knowing is annoying me. =|

AAS only tests for presence of cations, right?

It's to test for metallic ions, which are mostly cations. Can't think of any metallic anions..

Yeah, all of the above. Mostly, it tests for ppm because most cations are in ppm concentrations. So when it gives you data, most of the time it's ppm. However, it can measure to ppb as people said
