Lol, well one of the reasons why English advanced and extension is actually interesting, is because of creativity, we aren't restricted to a syllabus like in Chemistry, physics and even Maths. In English there are no rules, well there are some, but you know how to work around the rules or even work with them.
Using a myth in a way is creative, but because its a generalisation its most likely going to fall under the category of a documentary or a Movie. Don't forget alot of cultural myths involve many journeys, an example is the Tibetan marches that are done every year in September, the Tibetans believe that "walking long distances will purify the bad deeds that they have done...the more difficult the journey is, the greater the depth of purification".
