I was just wondering is Incapacitation a current criminal issue? I was a bit unsure of this issue. Thanks.

I guess so since you still have mandatory sentencing in regards to NT and WA. Hinders judicial discretion and United Nations Commissioners say that it breaches human rights... particularly young offenders who are subjected to a hostile environment after being light offenders instead of being rehabilitated. That's just one aspect of incapacitation

incapacitation in itself is not a current issue
look at examples from i think 2006 HSC paper, crime. it gav dot points of wat u coudlve written about

Terrorism is about the easiest issue you can get. We had to do a speech on this term 1 of hsc course, i used this and got 9/10-simple stuff (my lack of public speaking skills let me down, lol)

I recently completed an assignment on a current criminal issue and I did graffiti. (I got full marks!) It's a great issue to explore, and there's heaps of information on the Internet about it.
