I got this off a 2U school internal exam (Gosford High) and I'm super confused as to why the answer is C, 5 solutions. What do you guys think? I got B, 4 solutions, so if anyone could explain I'd appreciate it :)

You have 2 equations





The sine equation only has one solution, the cos equation has 4 solutions between 0 and 2pi

ooooh! ok thanks - I didn't realise the period was pi not 2pi
