I wouldn't use pleasantville. It's too done. People all over the state will use it and the markers will get sick of it. NEVER say that you wish you did postmodernism! It's an EVIL elective. It's not that I have anything against the movement itself, but I do have a problem with them teaching it to 17 year olds who haven't experienced enough or studied enough of the classics to get a full understanding.
