mm yeah wasn't too pleased at the enmore, was drowning in a sea of reverb the whole set, my girls was kind of anti-climatic live .. I'm with johony on brothersport though.
^ lol @ the will smiths.
Not sure if they've been mentioned but "The Fall" had some top post-punk stuff, hit up the "Jesus Lizard" too. "McLusky" have their moments too, worth checking out Mcluskyism.
I'll +1 Albinis work, Iggy and Rollins.
Genius .. theres a doco floating around youtube on him, worth a watch if you're not familiar with why he was the way he was. The sounds wouldn't be out of place today, he had some amazing pieces for his time.
^
Yep, play them both man. I have a strat and love it to bits, can get a new sound out of it every time I pick it up, but it's not for everyone you know.
I'm hoping you have a decent amp worthy of those guitars too :)
Hey all,
Anyone here doing MATH237? Can't for the life of me work out this project involving Finite State Machines. On the hunt for someone whose done the subject before too as I think it's been the same project since at least 2007
Cheeeers
Hey all,
An ex-mac friend was telling me on Fridays they used to have a few hours worth of musicians playing acoustic stuff at the bar, is that still going on? If so anyone know how long they play for?
Cheers
Does anyone know whether Mac has an on-site music studio of sorts (Logic/Mixing Desk etc..) that is available for students to work/experiment in? If so is it only available for MUS students or can it be booked by any student?
Cheers
Bad Brains - s/t .. picture vinyl, thankyou city JB :D
Black Flag - Damaged, vinyl
Deerhunter - Microcastles
Was very tempted to pick up the new fleet foxes on vinyl too, only 20bx at jb and it came with another ep :(
Yeah I don't know what it was about it, it just seemed to drag on a bit for me. I bought it as I heard it was a little more experimental but I had a different sort of sound in mind before playing it. Shall give it more spins though.
Awesome, glad you liked it! Cheers for the feedback too, its...
