Originality, not Honesty, is the best policy. do something that interests you but at the same time do something that not many people have done, or something no-one has done before, and you'll get better marks. Keep in mind: If they've seen it before, they'll be harsher with your marking.

Originality is all in the mind of the creator. If he wants to do something with regard to Jesus, let him. If he falls flat on his face he will blame you, if he succeeds he will take the credit himself. Personally, I don't see why you would want to do Jesus if you're already doing him as a case...
