The ranking system is absolutely ridiculous. my ranks weren't the best, so the whole time i'm studying, i'm just thinking, "This is a waste of time when i'm going to get low marks anyway".
And the UAI...don't even get me started.

I did BNW/BR, and I agree, it was hard at first, but i slowly began to understand what i was writing about as i went along...there were SO many arrows etc, i hope the examiner understands what the hell i was on about.
Wow, I feel so lazy. I've just being performace exams with ANZCA for the last 3 years, and i'm doing an 8th grade piece for the HSC...still haven't finished learning it. Oh dear.
I can't help you....but I can assure you that your musicology mark will be much higher than mine :P Still haven't done it. Wish I would've picked another performace. Sigh.

This has probably been answered somewhere already...but can they ask you to write about ANY of the prescribed texts in the HSC? I cannot STAND the Revenger's Tragedy, and I was hoping I could just use High Noon and Medea plus my related texts...
