haha yeah, it's all about interview training these days :P
but basically what I was trying to say (like others) is that you can't really compare the two systems until you have completed all of your training. You end up the same, just get there in a different way.
I think if an American student wants to attend univeristy here and then go back to the US for internship/residency, then they probably will be lacking in basic science knowledge compared to those who did their med education in the US. But in Australia we catch up to the Americans in our longer...
There is no cut off as such, as it changes each year depending on the performance of all the applicants. I got 167 scaled score last year and got an interview, although I am in WA. Interstate applicants will need higher.
