Just an update. I managed to get into Wollongong thanks to Mikey's suggestion of going to the Dean....so WOOHOO and THX A LOT :D I start tomorrow morning....with 3 weeks worth of work waiting for me to catch up on :) *kisses computer goodbye for a little while :)

Yeah, you'd think so wouldn't you :) I've met the people in my group...yeah... that's all I'll say and no, my tutor really can't speak english properly oh well

Sydney Uni, on the whole, is awesome. Great people, good lecturers, awesome atmosphere. It's really good everywhere...except for their IT department. Their facilities are pretty poor. The people in the IT courses seem unfriendly and stuck-up and don't get me started on their lecturers/tutors =/...

I did ring them. They said that I can't transfer till next semester which just leaves me so ridiculously behind. I'm just hoping for some sneaky back-way in or something :P Basically I'm in denial. =/

Had to do some nasty fiddling etc, but yeah, managed one day off which is always good. Long weekend, woooo! 11am starts aren't too bad, but still....damn uni, making me change my usual wake-up time of 1pm :) Seriously though...7 hours of lectures etc straight...won't I like...die from...

Argh, Two 8am starts...both Maths lectures on Monday and Tuesday =/ death... Oh well, got my day off on friday :) Have a 7!!! hour marathon on Wednesday...from 11am till 6pm...that'll be fun :)

Not even turning on a computer ay...that would be funny....turn up to a Comp Sci lecture etc and try to turn the comp on using the mouse buttons or something :P

Is there any sort of assumed knowledge for the course? eg HTML, C++, javascript? Obviously you need to know your way around a comp but are there any programming languages etc that are either asssumed knowledge, or really good to know? I've got a few months and could probalby learn the basics of...

Do you reckon they would let in a friend of mine? Her birthday is on the 19th and the party is 9pm - 3am (18th - 19th). Is 3 hours going to stop her from going? Or should we wait and all go at 12:01am so she can get in? :P

I got the same conditional as MrMik...75 UAI for Internet and Communication and Technology. Kinda annoyed as my marks were pretty good...but meh. I'll get the 85 needed for the IT course at Sydney Uni so Wollongong can go to hell...that's what they get for not giving me guaranteed and letting...
