Module A - Elective 1: Revenge Tradgedy (Essay)

That totally sucked... Come on a visual stimulus? That was shite... at least it was all up2 interpretation of the visual how it would relate to the genre... My english teacher said she thought it was the hardest of the module A questions and i agree... it was too specific for the exam!

The 2004 HSC - English Extension 1 Paper

That exam was 100% SHIT for revenge tragedy... what was with the stupid gun? I got the metaphorical meaning of it all, blah blah blah, but have we degraded to some kind of primary school english, writing off a visual stimulus? Even advanced english barely ever uses stimulus visual imagery! SOO...

Thanks for the comments guys! I dont know if Ill make the 98 this year, I can hope so, but even if i dont then by repeating, the accessability of the course I wanted has become greater in the 2003-4 period so hopefully Ill make it! Yeah it was a bloody tough decision to go back... 91.5 isnt...

    Go U Senior Sciencers

hi senior science ppl... this may seem like a slightly unusual question coming from a non-senior science student, however... was there one of the questions which named 4 students who were doing an experiment? LOL my chemistry teacher was the writer for the senior science exam and said...

For anyone who accelerated and this is there 2nd time doing Ext 1...

WELL Im not an accelerated student but I repeated year 12, I wanted 98 for the Uni course I wanted, and only got 91.5, so back I went again to school... But this was my second attempt so I decided to reply... Hopefully this mark will be somewhat better than my last (which was 38, VERY low...

One thing to be HAPPY about

or even all three at once! ahh, the sweet feeling of knowing you'll never have to calculate the period of a sine curve again... the integral of cos (squared)... and we'll never have to do stupid fucking binomial probability again (WOO HOO!!!) so so so so happy... yay!

The 2004 HSC - Mathematics Extension 1 Paper

Hmm tres pissed off.. That exam so sucked! This is my second time round doing the HSC and I think even last years paper was like 10 times easier... my maths teacher reckons it was one of the hardest in the last few years... I think the most difficult thing about the whole paper, however...

The 2004 HSC - Chemistry Paper

I just regurgitated the experiment we did in class - we had three beakers, each with a solution of 0.1mol/L NaCl in them. First beaker we covered and left for a week. Second beaker we boiled over a Bunsen to reduce the oxygen concentration in the solution, then sealed and left for a week. Third...

    Citric Acid

Thanks for that! Will one of the carboxylic acid groups ionise preferentially, or does it not matter which order u show the ionisation in?
  16. L

    Citric Acid

Okay... According to my chemistry teacher, citric acid is CH2COOH-HOCCOOH-CH2COOH... this I am comfortable with! My question is, is citric acid monoprotic or diprotic? AND if someone could give me the equation of its ionisation this would be veeeeeery appreciated thankyou!! LeAsHa :)

    Module A - Elective 1: Transformations

I think that this question was pretty good for HSC, because it was fairly straightforward in what you exactly had to do, and adapted to most prepared essays, but provided a slightly different angle which meant that it wasnt your standard easy essay response. Definitely my favourite module in...

    Module C - Elective 2: Powerplay

I didnt mind this question actually... my main problem was that it was the last question I attempted in the paper which meant that my hand had started to cramp by the time i got to the end of my final related material! Overall not too bad, probably not as good as the Transformations question...

    Revenge Tragedy

Yeah I think thats kind of whats happening there dEja vOux... and I think its all because we have a history teacher teaching us extension english! My only problem is that we are given relatively little on the conventions, and its only because Im repeating year 12 and had the conventions from...

    The plot

The creative works for extension 2 english are very versatile in their production. As long as you are either creating an imaginative, investigative or analytical work, it should be fine. My question is: I have, for my major work, three short stories. All investigate a specific genre/concept...
